Official Rules

No purchase or account opening is necessary to enter or win. Opening an account will not increase your chances of winning.

Qualifying products are new checking accounts (minimum $25 opening deposit required) and new savings accounts (minimum $100 opening deposit required) opened during the applicable contest entry period shown in the Entries and Drawing Dates Chart. Each qualifying product will receive one (1) automatic entry into the prize drawing for the branch where the account was opened, subject to the entry limits below.

To enter without opening an account, individuals may submit one (1) alternate entry by mailing a postcard to:

The postcard must include the entrant’s full legal name, mailing address, telephone number, and the name of the participating branch location for the contest they wish to enter. Mail-in entries must be received during the applicable contest entry period shown in the Entries and Drawing Dates Chart.

Entrants must be eighteen (18) years of age or older. Limit one (1) entry per qualifying product or one (1) alternate mail-in entry per person per contest period for individuals who do not open a qualifying account.

Employees, officers, directors, and immediate family members (spouse, parents, children, siblings, and their respective spouses) of The Citizens Bank, as well as members of their household, are not eligible to participate or win. Business accounts are eligible only if the business is privately owned. Government agencies, publicly traded companies, and subsidiaries of companies whose securities are listed on a U.S. stock exchange are not eligible to participate or receive prize entries.

One (1) prize will be awarded at each participating branch for each contest period. Winners will be selected by random drawing on or before the applicable drawing date listed in the Entries and Drawing Dates Chart. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received at each participating branch.

Winners are responsible for all applicable federal, state, and local taxes. The Citizens Bank may issue an IRS Form 1099-MISC or other applicable tax reporting form as required by law.

If a winner cannot be contacted, does not make arrangements to claim the prize within thirty (30) calendar days of the first notification attempt, rejects the prize, or otherwise fails to comply with these Official Rules, the prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner may be selected from the remaining eligible entries. If a prize is forfeited, no compensation or substitute prize will be provided except at The Citizens Bank’s sole discretion.

By accepting a prize, winners grant The Citizens Bank permission to use their name, photograph, likeness, city and state of residence, and prize information in announcements on The Citizens Bank’s website, social media platforms (including but not limited to Facebook, X, and Instagram), press releases, and other promotional materials without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law. The Citizens Bank may, at its sole discretion, publish such announcements but is under no obligation to do so.

The Citizens Bank reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who tampers with or attempts to tamper with the entry process or the operation of the promotion, or who violates these Official Rules.

The Citizens Bank reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the promotion, in whole or in part, if fraud, technical failures, acts of God, or any other factor beyond its reasonable control impairs the integrity, administration, security, or proper operation of the promotion, as determined by The Citizens Bank in its sole discretion.

The Citizens Bank is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, illegible, misdirected, damaged, delayed, or postage-due mail-in entries, or for technical, electronic, or human errors that may affect the administration of the promotion.

Void where prohibited by law. All federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply.
